Consulting Associate
This position provides support to senior staff on large engagements and may manage small to mid-size consulting engagements or projects/engagements including projects within a facility or functional area. In addition, works under moderate supervision and may be dedicated to a single department or business unit. Essential Functions: - Manages projects - Builds work breakdown structures translate project schedules w/ identified dependencies milestones - Works w/ project teams to develop accurate estimates ensures and documents criteria for completion of deliverables - Provides support for strategic planning engagements - Helps design document strategic planning processes - Identifies customer's needs issues - Provides solutions to complex problems through analysis, identification of problems, opportunities for improvement - Researches provides information required for solution alternatives analysis discussion - Conducts both qualitative quantitative analysis - Synthesizes data from different sources data types - Produces requirements documents for developing solutions - Produces written process improvement documentation diagrams - Facilitates small problem brainstorming / discovery sessions Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Three years experience or less of analytical /or consulting experience or Master's degree in lieu of work experience - Health care experience preferred - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field - Master's degree preferred - Ability to identify issues trends - Synthesizes analyses well highlights implications of findings - Ability to conduct interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis - Possesses technical expertise in some areas - Effective communication, problem solving, interpersonal, teamwork skills - Proficient w/ PC applications including spreadsheet, word processing, graphics packages - Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
