Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Most of the applications are within industrial plants, finishing process and Drive Systems. Specifically Medium Voltage and Low Voltage industrial power electronics and control systems for AC and DC motors. Maintains and troubleshoots hardware and Software for Drive control systems. Test equipment and systems at factory site. Will travel to customer site to diagnose, correct fault and maintains drive system. Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Must display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact and/or complex problems. Ability to troubleshoot industrial automation equipment controlled PLCs and integrated drive systems.

Education:
Typically BS in Electrical Engineering (Industrial Drives and Power Systems).

Knowledge and Experience:
Prior experience with project execution, detailed engineering and/or service. Vast experience in AC and DC industrial drive systems motors (preferably Siemens) and good computer skills. Willingness to travel extensively in the US and work the hours needed on industrial job sites to complete the tasks at hand. Typically 5-7 years of successful experience in Industrial Control applications in related industry where small to medium electrical and automation systems containing drives, automation systems, HMI systems etc. are extensively used. MV drives experience would be helpful. Must be accurate and detailed, while working in a fast paced environment with multiple people / projects demanding attention and time. Must be proficient in time management, in planning workload and specific tasks, and to achieve completion dates.
Proven track record of developing excellent customer relationships while acting independently to develop and execute customer solutions. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
Candidate must be familiar with applicable North American and international codes and standards and OSHA, safety and lock-out / tag-out procedures.
