OPPORTUNITY The Client Solutions Director (CSD) is a candidate to truly utilize their consultative sales skills while leveraging their strong understanding of IT and business consulting experience. We are looking for sales professional who works hard to understand their clients business needs and advise them on how EMC Consulting solutions offerings can keep them ahead of their competitors The successful candidate will manage the sales cycle, work with internal EMC teams for subject matter expertise, and report to management accurate forecasts and bookings. The CSD will expand existing client relationships, uncover new client opportunities, and continually sharpen their consultative/solutions selling skills. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Build in-depth knowledge of their clients business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into EMC Consulting solution opportunities. Present EMC Consulting solutions to the CTO/CIO/CEO levels in order to close large engagements and maintain customer confidence. * Forge strong relationships with management teams inside EMC Consulting service lines and EMC Corp. Leverage EMC's existing client relationships to introduce or deepen clients knowledge of the offerings of EMC Consulting so they can further educate customers on value of our business expertise and associated implementation expertise. * Use strong customer relationship skills to navigate within a client's organization and identify opportunities which are strategic to EMC Consulting and results in producing follow-on business. * Provide reliable booking forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. * Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and understand the uniqueness of each customer. * Travel required.
