PwC's Modelling and Analytics team is part of our emerging Analytics practice which works alongside our Economics Policy and Business Intelligence consulting groups. A key growth engine for the firm, our team focus on the following market propositions:
- Customer and demand analytics (e.g. pricing and promotion optimisation)
- Operations analytics (e.g. cost reduction and productivity optimisation)
- Workforce analytics (e.g. workforce profiling)
- Decision support (e.g. business case modelling or what-if analysis )
To meet the growing demands of our clients we must further expand our current capability with an experienced and commercially-focussed Director. A key leader of this team, you will have a strong background in strategy and analytics and will help us build the practice. You will have a strong sales focus and develop new and existing market and client relationships across a variety of industries. You will have the opportunity to utilise your commercial, consulting and client handling skills across a range of assignments, working to provide our clients with analytically backed strategic insight.

To be a successful candidate you ideally will have a consulting background in a strategy house, or similar business context. You will have a proven track record demonstrating hands on experience of combining your strategic perspective in an analytical environment to provide valuable insight to clients. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, including relevant experience around the focus areas of our market propositions: customer and demand analytics, operations analytics, workforce analytics, and/or decision support. A demonstrable track record of new business development is essential. Hands on experience of developing complex Excel based models, and/or strong understanding of databases, data analytics software and/or financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, SQL, Tableau, etc.) is advantageous. The quality of your analysis, approach and achievement of valued outcomes is critical. This role will suit team players with energy, initiative, confidence and professionalism that would relish the challenge of operating within a rapidly evolving business.
