Consumer Equity Analyst – L/S Hedge Fund – Mayfair recruitment
The position has become vacant due to an internal promotion. The successful candidate will report directly to the PM and will immediately have a seat on the investment committee. Although there are some travel responsibilities which include meeting high profile organisations, the position provides you with the ability to move into a fund management position. You will also be part of a young vibrant team who are all determined to achieve considerable success.
Day to Day Responsibilities –
- Manage a book of long short consumer and travel sector, using fundamental bottom up analysis.
- Prepare investment cases
- Monitor existing investments and make alterations based on upcoming event
- Work closely within a team to recommend investments and also perform on site due diligence
The successful candidate should have –
- Several years buy side equity experience
- Experience covering consumer equities
- Excellent modelling skills
- The ability to work quickly and methodically
