Overview:
The purpose of the Consumer Logistics Consultant (CLC) position is to understand both the consumer and LEGO logistical processes with the purpose and ability to support Consumer Logistics initiatives, develop and drive innovation projects that will enhance the overall value chain with a focus.
Core Accountabilities:
30% - Consumer logistics analytical support:
- Work with both internal and external partners to develop, collect and analyze data that could be used to reduce logistical costs while improving delivery services, improve availability at the shelf, and develop or modify processes.
40% - Project management of business support:
- Develop business case scope, metrics, action plan and time frames associated with projects. Lead or assist in the leading of that team to both meet deadlines and accomplish tasks.
- Assist in implementing process optimization and new IT actions/solutions; Participate in the idea
development and project implementation for store IT solutions. Work with the business to develop
standard processes to support IT solutions.
15% - Tendency analysis and KPI reporting:
- Assist in the development of reports necessary to capture and disseminate key production indicators (KPI). Work with internal and external teams to develop actions needed to improve KPI metrics.
15% - LEAN process work within the "order to delivery" process:
- Work with the local Continuous Improvement (CI) team to continuously review and implement lean concept. Work with both internal and external partners to establish and nurture a Lean culture in daily assignments.
