Position Responsibilities:
The consumer marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and sell through plan for Total Defense’s consumer product line. The marketing manager will:
· Create programs and campaigns designed to meet the sell through goals of the consumer business plan.
· Create and manage the marketing calendar designed to maximize sales by leveraging key consumer buying periods and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage Total Defense’s consumer marketing efforts and planning.
- Develop presentation materials and collateral to be used by the field sales team to sell new products and programs to retail buyers.
- Maximize retail sell through by creating customized marketing programs including advertising, POP, sales programs and rebates that deliver ROI
- Establish and manage strong customer relationships with buyers, partner marketing and merchandising management.
- Develop comprehensive affiliate marketing programs to recruit new affiliates and drive incremental sales.
- Develop partnerships and programs that promote the sell through of Total Defense’s consumer product line by bundling or attaching with other retail products.
- Work with internal marketing team and agencies to develop compelling creative materials.
- Assist in the implementation of marketing activities including sales promotions, client sales events, and new product introductions
- Develop programs that create mindshare with retailers employees to further promote the consumer products
- Meet with retailers to co-develop sales and marketing plans that drive product sell through.
- Support sales through the creation of collateral, presentations and other sales aids required to support retail sales plans.
- Work with corporate marketing and agency to set expectations, timelines and priorities to ensure deliverables are meeting revenue expectations.
- Assess effectiveness of marketing initiatives plan and adjust accordingly
Requirements:
· 5 plus years in consumer product marketing
· Developed marketing campaigns from inception
· Ability to be creative and think “out of the box”
· Demonstrate strong verbal and written skills
· Software experience a plus
