Consumer Research Analyst recruitment

Working in the Consumer research team, this area focuses on where the consumer is spending their money and to then target businesses which demonstrate these attributes.

Your duties will include the following:

-Identifying and researching buyers for business which my client is selling

-Understanding sector trends and who are the leading businesses – both on a UK and Global platform and to develop an understanding of their strategy and acquisition criteria – this will involve discussions with key decision makers within the business

-Contributing to industry publications

In order to be successful you will have strong research skills and operate at a level where you will be able to conduct business meetings and presentations at a senior level to potential acquirers and to attend pitches. The ability to investigate markets and possess a logical approach to research is essential.

Ideally you will have a passion for the consumer space and have experience working in the consumer market, this is not essential, however will be a distinct advantage.

Your previous experience will be likely to be within the following types of companies - Corporate Finance teams, Equity Research within an IB or Broking business, Market research houses, Commercial Due Diligence and Consultancy businesses.
