Contact Centre Customer Service Officer Job

Our client, an east London based council, are now looking to recruit for a Contact Centre Customer Service Officer role. This is a three-month ongoing contract job offering a competitive rate as well as the chance to work within a thriving and structured team.

This job will support the Clients Contact Centre in the Council Tax Benefits enquiry section. The post holder will answer inbound telephone/email/fax enquiries for either Council Tax or Benefits and provide relevant advice for either service on request from residents.

Experience in a customer facing role is necessary and an in depth knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit regulations are required and a basic understanding of council tax legislation is preferential.
