Our client's business is at the very heart of the London banking community and is a stable member and well regarded institution within city finance circles. Our client's IT systems help support the trading of items such as derivatives swaps and fixed income products. As one of just two official tier 1 preferred recruitment partners, we have been asked to identify a Contract Service Delivery Manager.
The successful candidate will play an important role, in working with business and IT teams to align service levels with business goals. You will have full responsibility for one particular work stream, hence strong leadership and communication skills essential. Motivating technical support teams and increasing reliability and creating service improvements will be the core responsibilities. We genuinely see this as an exciting role and a fantastic opportunity for an appropriately qualified Service Delivery Manager.
This role would suit a Service Delivery Manager, Support Operations Manager, Service Manager
Responsibilities
- Managing Technical teams, Investigation or Incident trends/patterns
- Monitoring and reporting usage and performance against defined SLAs
- Stake Holder management
- Creating Service Models and SLA’s + Associated Documentation
- Sourcing / 3rd Party Supplier Management
- Following of ITIL Service Management Processes and Procedures.
Essential Skills
- Banking / Financial Services Experience.
- Extensive Service Delivery, Operations or Service Management experience.
- Successful delivery of process improvements
- Issue Escalation software management (BMC Remedy Preferred)
- ITIL Service Manager V2 OR v3 Foundation
Desirable
Knowledge of Interest Rates / Clearing operations
Prince 2
COBIT
Offshore Experience
Six Sigma
