Description:

Supporting the mission to source target, cross asset, contributed content from leading market participants, Thomson Reuters is seeking customer engagement and market expertise to join the team as Content Development Manager, OTC Market Content.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Develop and drive strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers of target contributed data.

Identify leading market participants and engage those organisations at an executive level

Identify and develop opportunities to grow new content and enhance existing coverage from a deep understanding of the regional competitive landscape

Working with internal FI, FX MM business management to align activities to strategic and tactical content requirements

Translate content requirements into clear, communicable value propositions

Working with Head of Specialists Head of SQ - OTC Market Content to establish a feedback cycle focussed on quality of service, quality of data, product and content deficiencies and competitive services.

Work with internal stakeholders to solicit detailed feedback on product and content deficiencies observed within the market place and translate into product roadmap and strategy.

Provide expert representation for Thomson Reuters OTC Market Content to generate additional marketing and demonstrate thought leadership across the market including attending seminars and hosting topical events.

Additional Information:

Availability to travel for up to 30% of time

Skills

Preferred Skills:

Fluent proficiency in written and oral English.

Regional dependent language skills (e.g. French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin etc.)

Knowledge of OTC Markets gained through minimum of 5 years working in the banking, broking or vendor industry.

Passionate about the Contributed Data value proposition, and familiar with global industry developments and trends.

Strong business development experience in building relationships and driving strategic direction of complex information solutions

Strong interpersonal communication skills enabling ability to converse at all levels in an organisation and across diversity of cultures.

Able to withstand pressure, meet tight deadlines and work independently with good decision making skills

Ability to coach and develop OTC Market Content Specialist staff

Resourceful, with ability to find solutions where they are not obvious

Ability to self-manage own work for multiple projects, constantly re-assessing priorities to meet deadlines
