Responsibilities: 

The Content Management Specialist (CM Specialist) will be responsible for identifying, collecting and codifying information and data relevant to the Product Strategy and Development (PSD) division. The CM Specialist  is responsible to develop and use standardized methods of codifying this data including organizing, grouping and cataloging content for efficient access. In essence the CM Specialist is responsible for developing and overseeing the department’s document cataloging system. This position must be able to establish, develop and implement solutions designed to facilitate the easy availability of documentation and other information for PSD employees and others. Must be able to develop procedures for content governance.

 

The CM Specialist must be able to effectively interview other employees to gather or verify information. In addition, this position is also responsible to collaborate with training departments regarding divisional knowledge initiatives.

·         Ability to research, analyze and define requirements for a content management system for the division

·         Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and an orientation to detail

·         Ability to make sound decisions and enforce divisional policies in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures

 

Project Mgmt

·         Self motivating, self starting

·         Ability to plan projects (e.g. organize assigned projects with tasks and milestones)

·         Ability to manage time across multiple assignments to meet established deadlines

 

Education/Skills

Bachelors Degree in Knowledge Management or related field, or 3-5 years relevant business experience. IT background or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology is helpful.

 

SharePoint, Quickbase, Enterprise Content Management system or related systems

Expert experience with Microsoft Office Products:  Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word.
