Content Specialist
The Database Development group works closely with database engineers, application developers, sales people, consultants, knowledge management, marketing, and training groups to ensure that the database meets client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create technical and functional specifications for development of equity reference data feeds and other content areas, while working with Engineers, Vendors, QA, and other Development teams to facilitate seamless integration of this content across FactSet databases
- Incorporate processes into daily operational workflow
- Prioritize product enhancements based on customer, prospect, and internal feedback as well as taking into account technical and/or data constraints
- Become familiar with FactSet technology to become more efficient with problem solving issues
- Create, implement, and monitor quality procedures as well as other processes to ensure timely availability and accuracy of the content
- Assist FactSet Consulting by providing timely client support for inquiries related to the content.
Job Requirements :
- University degree
- Technically inclined with strong analytical problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Interest in learning new technologies
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Experience working with financial content
- Quick learner; ability to apply skills and past experiences in new situations
- Knowledge of financial industry and basic SQL is a plus
