Responsibilities:
Manage content strategy development team for high-tech b2b client
Ensure team is creating strategic, high-quality, engaging content for IT manager audience across a variety of topics
Job entails developing/writing this content as well managing the other content strategists on the team
Manage schedules and deadlines
Be a trusted advisor to the client on all aspects of content marketing
Understand the IT manager audience—the key issues they face, the content they’re looking for, the form factors they want to consume it in—and continually update our strategies and content products to meet the needs of this audience
Propose and participate in the creation of digital, interactive assets that repackage core written content into new, engaging form factors
Work closely with:
The content manager on the client side and with the extended client team
This will require some travel—at least 1x per quarter and possibly more
The agency’s account service and creative teams
The agency’s project management team to create and adhere to best practices in content development processes
The agency’s analytics teams to understand how content is performing
Make suggestions for continuous improvements based on content analytics
Help roll out current content marketing program in geographies outside the U.S.

Be an excellent writer; must have an extremely strong portfolio of content developed for an IT audience
Be an excellent editor of other’s work
Demonstrate deep understanding of the IT audience
Have strong presentation skills
Have exceptional client management skills
Have experience with content marketing
Have experience developing content for digital assets
Apps, tools, podcasts, video, etc.
Have managerial experience
