Job Description Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems has a immediate need for a Content Web Writer for a long term contract position in Charlotte, NC. -**Must be able to work on a W2 and local or moving to the Charlotte area*** Seeking candidates with strong web writing backgrounds within large Corp Environments or an interactive agency. Targeted Skills Competencies: - Expertise in web content strategy and writing for the web (including SEO, metadata, keyword strategies, etc.) - Ability to simultaneously oversee multiple projects and work under tight deadlines - Superior written and verbal communications skills. - Strong familiarity with multiple content management systems and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS - Broad knowledge of best practices for user-experience, information architecture and content strategy. - Basic design skills using Photoshop, Illustrator, et al. Expected Responsibilities: * Create, edit and publish Web and other digital content for a fortune 500 financial services company. Includes educational, product-specific, technical, promotional, transactional, and online application content. - Partner closely with interaction designers, visual designers, marketing managers, project managers and subject matter experts to create an optimal content experience. - Manage content for multiple business segments and product areas for publishing on the web and other digital channels. - Optimize the design and experience of existing content for increased consumption on the Web and other digital channels - Post content directly to the web using an Oracle-based CMS. - Maintain and syndicate content across multiple platforms (YouTube, iTunes, social media, online communities, etc.) - Amplify key corporate messages that support business strategy and objectives and ensure content complies with all corporate standards and regulatory requirements. - Champion the consistency of our brand, editorial standards and online style across all digital channels; account for editorial execution, review, and revision of content according to content strategy requirements, business objectives, and user needs. Suggested Experience Qualifications: 7+ years experience writing, editing and maintaining Web and other digital content, including Web, email, mobile and social.
