Continuing Nurse Assessor
CONTINUING HEALTHCARE ASSESSOR – LEICESTERSHIRE
Hays Healthcare is working alongside NHS Leicestershire to recruit Continuing Healthcare Assessors to work within the Leicestershire area.
As a Continuing Healthcare Assessor, you will undertake comprehensive checklist screenings to determine eligibility for full Continuing Healthcare Assessments.
This peripatetic role will involve travelling around the community, working with patients in a variety of environments.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise written reports. Excellent interpersonal skills will also be required to support you in managing complex discussions with a range of agencies and individuals including care providers and relatives. Excellent time management skills will also be required.
Previous experience of working in Continuing Healthcare although not essential, would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and traits:
· Current RGN / RMN nursing registration with the NMC
· Clinical assessment experience
· Excellent written skills
· The ability to think creatively and autonomously
· Strong negotiation and rapport building skills
· Good PC skills
