Continuous Improvement Leader
ATI Allegheny Ludlum produces and markets a wide range of specialty metals, including stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium to end use markets such as aerospace, power generation, automotive, and housing. We deliver exceptional products and services to customers around the world.
We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader for the Specialty Titanium Sheet Business Unit. This position reports to the Director, ATI Business System, Reliability Centered Maintenance and Training and is located at our Louisville, OH, facility.
Position responsibilities include working with plant management to achieve all established business objectives by driving the ATI Business System, Reliability Centered Maintenance and Training processes to: improve equipment reliability, improve quality performance, eliminate process waste, improve process efficiency and increase the skills and engagement of all associates.
Additional duties include developing FMEA’s, conducting and implementing process optimizations, identifying and solving problems to root cause, leading project development activities and ongoing analysis to enable continuous improvement in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three years of industrial experience
- Experience in Project Management including project development, implementation, and review
- Excellent communication, motivational and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to progress into a plant management role
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering and experience working with hourly union employees are preferred.
Lean manufacturing, statistical analysis, Minitab, and Six Sigma training and experience is a plus as is metals and finishing operations experience.
