Direct hire job opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Specialist!! The CI Specialist will be working with members of the organization to identify and implement process improvements using Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen methodologies. Note that travel (about 20%) is required for this position as you will be supporting other business units process improvement activities. Required Knowledge/Skills Demonstrated knowledge and application of Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen methodologies to identify and implement process improvements. Technical competency in Lean Six-Sigma skills: DMAIC, BTO, Lean, Kaizen, project management techniques. Education or Formal Training Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent technical degree required. Six Sigma Blackbelt Trained required (certification highly desired). ASQ certification (CQIA, CQT, CQA, CQE) or related certification desired. Additional process improvement training (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen training are preferred). Minimum three years exposure to manufacturing and quality business processes in the aerospace industry. Minimum of three years process improvement experience (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen) with demonstrated track record of results.
