Our public sector client in Burnaby is seeking an Intermediate BA to join their team for a 4 month contract.

Responsibilities:
Provide business analysis and functional support for core HR business systems
Facilitate the development of systems release notes documentation and training programs
Provide extensive testing of new reports, modules, enhancements and interfaces; participates in the testing phase of project teams whose interface(s) connects to the core business systems
Develop and/or coordinate the development of technical specifications and requirements for new reports, systems or enhancements, utilizing process and data modeling techniques

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have a recognized degree or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Science or MIS
Business Analysis with 3+ years experience
Customer service oriented, with strong analytic, problemsolving and business acumen
Proven expertise with business requirements gathering, process and data modeling
Strong documentation and business writing skills
Strong SQL programming skills; demonstrated experience in data analysis and designing/implementing reporting solutions
Enthusiastic. Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines and competing priorities
