Long term contract job opening in Contract Administration!! ? Provide assertive contract management of assigned customers and programs, which may include initial development and production phases. ? Minimize assumption of business and contract risk; communicate risk issues to appropriate management levels and develop contingency plans as necessary. ? Provide clear contract direction and advice to program team members. ? Administer customer request for quotes, purchase orders, repair orders, for contractual or price listed items. ? Manage all demands and demand planning for assigned customers. ? Manage delivery and quality issues within the organization and at the customer. ? Manage upgrade and retro-fit programs for assigned customers. ? Provide leadership to resolve conflicts and assure compliance with contract requirements. ? Order Entry and Statusing Customer Contact ? Establish contact with assigned customers for all programs under contract.. ? Maintain effective liaison and coordination between all functions of the company and the customer with regards to committed/contractual business. ? Represent customers within company; champion customers needs and coordinate responses to assure customer expectations are met. Financial Accountability ? Manage all demands and demand planning for assigned customers. ? Manage forecast information for assigned customers and committed program Negotiation ? Identify changes in work scope and prepare supporting data and costs analysis. ? For both new and existing contracts provide input to Business Development regarding contractual terms and conditions that create execution issues for the Value Stream. Government Familiarity ? Maintain familiarity and ensure compliance with government, industry, and import/export regulations as required. Leadership ? Mentor, train, and provide work direction for junior contracts personnel. ? Perform program leadership functions such as team meeting coordination, schedule monitoring, etc, where required. Special Projects ? Complete special projects as assigned. Minimum Education Requirement: Four Year Degree (B.S. Business) Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years Skills Required: The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Knowledge of computer systems. ? Use of order management software.
