Contract Administrator Job in Pasadena 91101, California Us

Responsible for managing and maintaining corporate contracts. Ability to negotiate routine contracts. Responsible for researching and analyzing existing contracts, and making recommendations on various issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be highly organized with special attention to details. Must be capable of drafting contractual instruments including but not limited to amendments, addendums, statements of work, schedules, and exhibits. Familiarity with a contract management system is preferred. Experience Level: BA or BS or plus 2+ years of direct relevant experience.

 

 

 

 

Summary:   Review, process and issue construction subcontracts and change orders as requested by the various Capital Projects Facilities Construction teams in Southern California.  Review and approve subcontractor payment applications/invoices for payment processing.  Ideal candidate needs excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a team oriented environment.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•           Provides support and customer service to internal departments and external subcontractors by managing timely interventions to assure contracts, change orders and payables are processed on a timely basis. 

•           Creates and modifies contract commitments in OneLink procurement system.

•           Communicates contract policy and practice to project teams.

•           Ensures contract review, approval execution in accordance with corporate guidelines.

•           Assists construction or other project teams with contract negotiations via the Contracting Services Supervisor or Manager.

•           Focal point for all communication with project teams for resolution of contract issues and disputes. 

•           Provides periodic informal work guidance/direction to, and training of team members with less experience.

•           Provides support to NFS Construction or other project teams and assists with workload distribution and workflow analysis of the contracting services team.
