Contract Analyst Job in Washington 20007, District Of Columbia US
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide support to the Contracts Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring contract activity.
- Coordinate preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing and summarizing data information from the various departments.
- Assist with the preparation of a variety of reports covering budget status, forecast reports, and other management reports.
- Keep track of active project budgets and ensuring that project expenses are strictly monitored monthly.
- Ensures that monthly expenses are on target.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES
Minimum Requirements:
- Very strong organizational skills.
- Excellent ability to plan and implement various methodologies to increase the efficiency of the projects.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge of working with spreadsheets, office tools and presentation tools.

- The successful candidate will be an action-oriented, self-motivator individual who is able to work independently and has strong organizational skills.
- Candidate must have proven success in customer relations, an in-depth familiarity with the federal contracting process, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Working knowledge of basic contracts.
- Strong computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
