Contract and Acquisition Analyst, Mid Job
Description Key Role: Assist a government client through the contracting or acquisition life-cycle, including pre-award contracting planning, source selection support, and post-award contract management. Assist with the development and execution of acquisition and contracting strategies and provide analysis in support of the management of awarded contracts. Assist with the development of contracting or acquisition documents, including acquisition plans, source selection plans, determination and findings, justification and approvals, statements of work, CDRLs, DD254s, task and delivery orders, and modification or procurement requests. This position is located in San Diego, CA. Qualifications Basic Qualifications:-3+ years of experience with acquisition or contracting in a government or government support role-Experience with FAR, DFAR, DoD 5000 series regulations, and supporting major systems acquisitions-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications:-Experience with DoD, including Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines-Knowledge of performance-based contracting using various methods-Knowledge of the defense industry-Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
