Contract – Business Analyst recruitment

The Business Analyst will work with Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) commercial, content, marketing and web development teams to make sure quarterly priorities are delivered; the role is varied and fast paced.

Key activities

- Produce and gain consensus around acceptance criteria/scope for projects
- Develop detailed specification documents in conjunction with business managers and programmers
- Work with programmers and business customers throughout the development process to assure timely, quality delivery; this includes performing early testing
- Attend weekly prioritisation meetings and provide appropriate feedback on project progress
- Deal with ad-hoc requests from business including bugs, research on approach to implementing on the web and data requests

Required skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to flex style to work with both technical and business audiences
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage several projects successfully at once
- Understanding of web development methodologies
- Data literate
- Interest in clean energy
- Pro-active, delivery focused
- Happy to roll sleeves up and do whatever needs to be done
