The Role
The Finance Administration Group is looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and dedicated individual to join the cash application specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organized, has good interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
Duties will encompass a variety of functions within our accounting department. As part of a fast paced team, responsibilities include, researching and allocating receipts to accounts, reconciliation of funds and applying payments in a timely manner. Building strong relationship with internal team/departments, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable and the cash control team will also be critical.
Create great working relationship with banks and resolve matter by entering bank investigations. The individual will also work on ad-hoc projects that come into the team.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of cash application experience
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software
- College degree a plus
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
- Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast paced high volume environment.
- Preferred basic knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and strong communication skills.
