Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for Contract Compliance Monitoring Manager to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well-known asset manager
The Contract Compliance Monitoring Manager will perform monitoring tasks to check for compliance with FSA and SEC’s regulatory requirements and to provide support to the Compliance teams based in London and Geneva. To ensure that staff respect the rules and regulations that apply.
The Compliance Monitoring Manager will also be responsible for:
- Carrying out a risk based compliance monitoring programme including thematic and desk reviews.
- Provide fund managers and other staff with timely and pragmatic advice on day to day issues.
- Ensure all errors and breaches identified are promptly reported and appropriate corrective action taken.
- Reporting weaknesses found during monitoring.
- Assist Head of Compliance in production of reports to ExBo and Heads of Group Risk and Compliance.
- Dealing with Compliance issues surrounding staff starter and leavers.
- Provide assistance to other London and Geneva Compliance staff when requested.
- Other ad-hoc or project work as required.
Candidates Must have:
- 2 to 4 years commercial cexperience in an asset manager or fund
- Degree-level education
- Hold IMC or equivalent qualification
- Have a good knowledge of FSA rules and regulations
- Have a good knowledge of the Asset Management Industry
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant equity practices and dealing procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best compliance/regulatory practice.
- Possesses IT skills and knowledge of relevant software packages
