Contract Manufacturing Sr Manager Job in Chicago, Illinois US

Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing capabilities to provide concept to shelf support for the Global Nutrition Group (GNG). Breakthrough innovation to include new packaging and products will require this leader to identify new platforms and work product sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing for manufacturing across all GNG Corridors to include diverse product requirements under dairy, fruit veg, and grains categories
- Ensure sourcing options are able to meet aggressive timelines and deliver on budget product launches
- Lead changes in processing and packaging alternatives/recommendations to business teams which will require a shift from current/past business model used for launching innovation
- Develop innovation optimization solutions across co-pack network to establish new component assembly processes and capabilities required to support new packaging and products
- Lead all contractual processes/procedures to include Request for Proposal, Confidentiality Agreements, Letters of Intent and Manufacturing Contracts to lock in pricing and term
- Coordinate multiple raw material work streams for WIP materials required from other BU's (dairy, grains and fruit)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years minimum applicable experience in manufacturing/supply chain
- 3-5 years minimum of project management/leadership experience
- Previous roles in Dairy and Foods operations highly preferred
- Strong communication and influence skills to gain alignment across multiple constituents
- Ability to demonstrate thought/idea leadership to develop innovative co-pack network sourcing solutions
- Strong project management/execution skills to meet aggressive deliverables
- Must be willing and able to travel 70% of the time.
