Contract Mortgage Loan Processor Job in Norfolk 23502, Virginia US
We are looking for a pro active mortgage loan processor with extensive experience and currently processing mortgage loans. This position will be in our Norfolk Virginia office.
The primary job duties of the Mortgage Loan Processor involve verifying, compiling and inputting financial data on loan applications while working in tandem with the Loan Originator. This data includes the amount and type of mortgage and the borrower's years of employment, assets and liabilities, etc. To obtain this data, a Mortgage Loan Processor will communicate with credit bureaus and the borrower's employer and others as needed. The Mortgage Loan Processor will check this data against the borrower's data to determine that there are no discrepancies. Based on the verified application data, the Mortgage Loan Processor will recommend any additional information needed from the borrower or other issues. Once the application is complete, the processor will submit the application for underwriting approval.
