Contract PART TIME Assistant Compliance Manager recruitment

You will be providing pro-active compliance support to the business, ensuring the provision of quality, timely and accurate guidance on internal guidelines and external regulations. You will have strong knowledge of UCITS and must have a background in discretionary asset management (particularly within a hedge fund (or fund of hedge funds), private equity or real estate (funds and syndicates) environment).

The role will involve assisting the compliance manager in preparing an annual plan that reflects the compliance accountabilities and compliance risks (including money laundering risks) and implement the agreed plan.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist in ensuring that the Private Bank Monitoring Team can complete their compliance monitoring plans and assist in rectifying any deficiencies identified by reports.

• Provide clear, concise, consistent, constructive and customer conscious advice to the Business.

• Keep informed of regulatory changes assist in assessing the impact on the business. Assist in implementing regulatory change and ensure appropriate controls are in place and proper reviews are conducted to maintain appropriate standards.

• Actively support the business by providing detailed AML compliance advice / guidance in relation to existing and new business initiatives in interaction with global compliance functions where the team is distributing its products.

• Review financial promotion materials and approve for issue in different jurisdictions.

• Produce periodic reports and MI as required and directed by the Compliance Manager.

• Assist the Compliance Manager in relation to client complaints.

• Assist with ad-hoc compliance and business related projects as necessary.
