Contract – Project Manager – Healthcare (12

Our healthcare client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team for a 1218 month contract to lead the creation of an active and passive link between the organization' MEDITECH health information systems and the provincial HCIM database.

The successful candidate will direct and coordinate the efforts to implement the applications listed and to manage the changes necessary for smooth functioning within the operational context. Liaising with the clinical departments as well as other projects, this Project Lead will:

direct the system rollout;
liaise with sponsors, contacts and Ministry of Health Services, and other IM project teams;
develop project charter using IM structured project methodologies;
define, manage and produce completed deliverables to project milestones;
management of risks, issues, schedule, budget and scope changes;
assist in change management components;
scheduled communications, of status reports and other project artefacts to stakeholders and sponsor including updates to intranet site;
EMPI release presentations to affected acute sites;
direct and assist with process analysis, and solution design;
ensure internal and ministry conformance based testing are in place including testing scripts and verification of testing results;
creation and approval of EMPI documentation including, but not limited to Software Assessment Forms, Service Level Agreements, and Privacy Impact Assessment documentation;
liaising directly with HSSBC and IBM staff, ensure appropriate processes are completed prior to golive, or implementation;
final documentation and post implementation review.
