***Contract / Project Engineer -Highly Engineered Product - Up to £45,000 - West Yorkshire***
THE ROLE
As the Contracts / Project Manager you will be part of the Project Team working on high value complex mechanical engineering salutions. The Contracts / Project Manager will be responsible for Projects and the Contract Approval with the client. This is a client facing role where the Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and liaison both internally and externally. The Project Manager will coordinate and work with purchasing, contracts, manufacturing and assembly, testing and approvals, certification and finance to deliver projects on time, to specification and within budget.
Key Tasks include:
- Review of all new orders to ensure contract is commercially viable and acknowledge
- Contracts Management for circa 40 - 50 contracts with a value between £10,000 - £3.5m, whilst ensuring that all time critical stages are completed on time. This includes documentation, stage or pro forma invoicing, planning and output meetings, production schedules, monthly reports, inspection and expediting visits
- Co-ordinate regular meetings with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and or planning dept to ensure OTD is maintained
THE PERSON
It is essential the succesful candidate will have experience of an engineering background, with customer facing experience. They will need to be able to work to a tight timescale in a project environment.
