We are currently seeking a Contract Recruiter to support a VIP client in Chicago, IL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages full life-cycle recruiting process including sourcing, interviewing, presenting candidates, and negotiating offers, and finalizing hiring decision for the client organization (40%).
- Writes complete and detailed search assignments (client engagement documents), ensuring an understanding of job duties, responsibilities and business requirements.
- Develops and executes recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools (15%).
- Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house Applicant Tracking Systems to identify and help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
- Strategically recruits active and passive candidates (cold-calling), (15%).
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Develops and maintains strong business relationships with client (15%).
- Stays abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices. Maintains current market knowledge and competitor trends (15%).
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
- Trains and mentors new colleagues at all levels.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma; Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Three (4) years of recruiting experience; five (6) years of recruiting experience preferred but not required.
- Agency and corporate recruiting experience preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
- Experience using staffing systems and tools including relational database Applicant Tracking Systems, the Internet, job boards, etc.
- Expert level knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management and due diligence.
- Negotiation and sales/persuasion skills experience.
- Recruited for a broad and deep range of positions.
- Experience recruiting non-exempt union positions strongly preferred
- Positions to be filled include; food preparation, transportation and interior kitchen support
- Strong results orientation and customer focus.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and manage time effectively.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FT ON-SITE AT CHICAGO'S O'HARE AIRPORT
