Our client is a unique Australian infrastructure company that builds, owns and maintains a combination of major electricity, gas and water assets. With a focus on future growth and sustainability, they operate nationally and specialise in the transmission and distribution of gas and electricity and as a key outsourcing partner to many businesses, they help supply millions of Australians all year round.
They are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to facilitate and support the contracts and tender process, prepare robust cost effective contracts, forecast, plan, manage and report on activities and develop working relationships with stakeholders.
You will also maintain the database of contracts, provide advice, negotiate variations, manage disputes and provide assistance with recommendations and negotiations, whilst handling associated administration and reporting tasks.
You must have contracts and tenders experience in a project based environment ideally within the Construction, Engineering or Materials industries. We are seeking a tertiary qualified, proactive, organised and self motivated operator, with superb communication and negotiation skills, bags of common sense and the confidence to liaise at all levels.
