Contractor: DOT Compliance Advisor

Organizational Statement

Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing has an immediate need for a Contract DOT Compliance Advisor in Petal, MS. The incumbent will be responsible for compliance and records related to DOT, OSHA, EPA and all other government agencies having regulatory authority over the Company.

Responsibilities

* Ensures compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, including record keeping and reporting.

* Ensures safety information packets are mailed to customers on an annual basis.

* Produce annual B200 report and post at each facility as required by regulations.

* Manage all aspects of commercial driver and commercial vehicle compliance

* Create and manage commercial driver qualification files and manage on-line qualification program

* Manage * determine whether driver meets nat'l qualification standard * decision based on driver medical examinations, follow up with doctors and drivers

* Manage and administer commercial driver drug alcohol testing program

* Train employees on Driver Qualification files, vehicle files. drug alcohol testing program, accident and injury record keeping and reporting

* Ensure vehicle registrations current

* Create and manage driver safety files and record all safety training time for the company

* Create and manage all accident and injury files and records

Qualifications

* One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and a commitment to service.

* Proven PC spreadsheet skills; superior analytical skills. Capable of working with a broad range of individuals in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven people and organizational skills and versatile at facilitating management across the organization.
