Job Description
The Technology Project Manager in Hong Kong oversees various initiatives that are required across Asia. It is the teams focus to ensure Projects are delivered smoothly, yet swiftly, to ensure we have the technology available to benefit the Business from current Market conditions. The team acts as an intermediary between the Business and various Technology teams to capture the requirements and deliver the end product that is in line with current technology best practices and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide end to end ownership for Project implementations across Asia.
- Monitor migration progress status in Asia
- Ensure process are met for project requirement and optimized. Update/remedy process if needed to be more efficient.
- Identify and monitor issue risks for projects
- Ensure delivery of Projects are on time and under budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Business and key stake holders.
- Assist in compiling departmental metrics and reports.
- Assist with Outage Co-ordinations as required by the Business.
- Project schedule tracking
- Project status update and management reporting
- Facilitate communications in project team and stakeholders. Organize meeting, agenda, minutes distribution
- Work closely with the Business and Technology teams
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology.
- Premises relocation project experience is a plus
- Desktop support/migration project experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in Information Technology and the Finance Industry is a plus.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of Information Technology.
- Ability to work on global projects requiring communication and co-ordination with teams in multiple locations.
- Self-starters with the ability to work effectively without constant supervision.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- A team player and the ability to work under time pressure.
