Our client specialises in camp construction for the mining industry. They have capabilities to turn a bit of dirt into a first class mining camp. By providing quality service to their clients they have won several awards for Safety and Quality.
As a result of anticipated awards of 2 new projects they are seeking to appoint 2 Contract Administrators.
In order to be successful you will need experience in following:
- Reviewing and determining acceptable bids from other sub-contractors and suppliers for conformity to contract requirements
- Developing baseline budgets
- Prepare cost breakdown structures
- Monitoring and tracking ongoing project costs
- Negotiating and reviewing contracts with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Reviewing commercial and contractual issues regarding suppliers sub-contractors and service providers
- Preparationon of internal cost reports including cost forecasts
- Coordinating and assisting the project teams in the preparationon of various claims and invoicing
- Mining or construction experience is essential.
