I am currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to work within the Waste Management sector. You will be responsible for the day to day supervision and management of all subcontractors and multiple site managers for the distribution and disposal of industrial waste through various methods.

All of these sites are managed with environmental legislation, so in order to understand and comply with all of these codes and practices you must have a strong background already within the Waste management sector

This is a regional role covering the geographical areas of Manchester - Sheffield - Stoke - North Birmingham - Derby - Nottingham, so with this in mind you must live in a suitable location..

Main responsibilities: -

• Liaising with subcontractors, their management, site staff and Council workers daily to identify potential problems and to rectify them
• Work with statutory bodies such as HSE and the Environment Agency to ensure sites and facilities are running under the relevant regulations
• Oversee site security 24/7 and detailed weighbridge logs of incoming and outgoing vehicles
• Oversee site health safety, PPM in relation to contract law

To conclude, your role as Contracts Manager would be to ensure that all Waste Management contracts are adhered to through a thorough understanding of all contracts which would allow you to implement in any additional clauses if needed.

Please be advised that you must hold your NVQ Level 4 (CoTC) in Waste Management Operations and currently be working within the Waste Management Industry to apply for this role.
