Contracts Manager recruitment

Responsibilities
Candidate will become part of a Moody's Procurement and Sourcing team and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Manage and conduct contractual negotiations; interact directly with vendors and line of business stakeholders during contract negotiations with little supervision.
Draft, review, and negotiate Statements of Work (SOW), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Schedules, etc. ), ensure adherence to Moody's risk management process (Security Risk Management, Insurance requirements, Compliance, Audit and other requirements). After a reasonable attempt to correct any deviations, escalate to management if processes are not being followed.
Ensure internal clients understand and use/adhere to established procurement policies and procedures. Escalate to management if policies and/or procedures are not being followed.
Candidate will primarily work and report to the VP of IT Sourcing (IT Market Data) on implementing procurement and sourcing policies (nationally and globally) as well as interact with legal on reviewing and redlining IT contracts/agreements.

Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science; Paralegal Studies.
-Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and/or legal department with a focus on contractual negotiations within a consulting firm or a Fortune 100 corporation
-Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
-Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
-Must be very detail-oriented.
-Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
-Proven ability to handle multiple complex concurrent projects
-Knowledge of legal terminology and contract law.
-Reasonable understanding of Moody's company risk tolerances, and the ability to synthesize this knowledge into a final contractual document. Will consult regularly with experts in these areas.
-Knowledge of, and background in, market data, hardware, or telecom contracts would be helpful.
