Position: Contracts Manager/Consultant Relationship Manager (CM/CRM)
Location: Tyson’s Corner, VA
Sagent Partners is looking for an energetic person to fill our open position as a Contracts Manager/Consultant Relationship Manager. The CM/CRM will be responsible for working closely with the Business Development Team on developing and maintaining relationships with Sagent customers and technical experts. The CM/CRM will go through a training program to learn Sagent’s business model as well as the skills that are critical to becoming an effective team member and to contributing to Sagent’s growth.
Sagent Partners is a 150 person IT services firm that specializes in system design, application development, information assurance, network engineering and help desk services for mission-critical clients in the government sectors of Homeland Security, Defense, Civilian, and Intelligence.
The Contracts Manager/Consultant Relationship Manager will be on a fast paced career path and his/her pay will be in the form of salary. Contracts Manager/Consultant Relationship Manager Objectives:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Sagent’s established customer base
- Develop and maintain relationships with Sagent’s technical experts
- Provide support to Sagent’s Business Development Team
- Handle all contract paperwork between Sagent and Sagent’s customers
- Facilitate the onboarding process for all new Sagent employees
- Plan Sagent team-building events
- Assist Sagent’s finance team with outstanding billing issues
- Manage Sagent’s relationships with company vendors
Work Experience:
- At least one year of work experience in a internal or external customer facing role and preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of work experience in the IT industry serving federal system integrators
Skills and Education:
- Strong preference for candidates with a Bachelors degree
- Must be proficient with PC skills such as: MS Office Suite and Web based software tools

Travel Requirement:
- Ability and willingness to travel within an assigned territory as well as periodic travel for training events and meetings
