About our Client

Our client is a leading mining organization with a range of commodities across local and international markets.

Job Description

Reporting into the Group Contracts Manager you will be responsible for;

• Executing and Managing the full contracts cycle for a significant portfolio of commodities based contracts
• Lead the tender process, evaluate the vendors and award the contracts
• On going management of an existing portfolio of contracts including executing variations and renegotiations
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships across the portfolio
• Identify contract and business improvement opportunities within the operation

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have extensive experience managing end to end contracts ideally with a focus on goods. You will demonstrate experience awarding and managing a high value and complex portfolio of contracts including tenders, negotiations, scope of work and evaluation. You will be available immediately for an initial term of 6 months with the possibility of a longer term opportunity.
