Contracts support agent is required for long term contract position based in Somerset. The ideal candidate will have experience of commercial contracts and be able to draft templates.
Contractor Role Description:
• The jobholder is responsible for providing key commercial and contractual support through the creation and implementation of standard tools, templates and user guides for Supplier Agreements for use throughout all Business Units
• This role is to provide support to the Global Sourcing teams on commercial and contractual supplier terms and conditions, Utilising the Company policy documents, this role will require the creation of standard templates where possible, user guides / guidance notes /definitions for T C's to ensure they meet our legal departments requirements to allow sourcing teams to attain knowledge and self-run going forward.
• This role requires the creation of standard templates for sourcing teams to issue to our customers in response to an Invitation to Tender, to support the invitation to Order (ITO) process, provide support to sourcing teams during heavy workloads, holidays / sickness. Full support from our legal team will be given.
Contractor Ideal/Special Experience:
• Commercial Contractual Awareness, including legal and commercial compliance.
• Understands and applies commercial and financial principles.
• Views issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value.
• Experience in the Oil Gas industry is an advantage but not necessary.
