As our Senior Community Editor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee a community of oncology nurses with the aim of helping them professionally and improving the level of care they provide. Essential to this position will be a strong foundation of community editor skills that will allow you to manage the message boards on an ongoing basis – including weekends – and post a minimum of five times daily to the message boards. Your ability to network within the community at ongoing live events will allow you to build partnerships and create connections that assist you in identify and enrolling at least one blog contributor per week and find moderators to contribute to the conversation. Familiarity with Hoot suite, Tweet deck or a similar social media content tool will ensure you stay connected. Your organization will ensure you can prepare weekly and/or monthly performance reports with site highlights, testimonials, and other quantifiable data to our team. While prior experience having direct report(s) is not a requirement for this position, your willingness to work with another is. Your continued curiosity and passion for knowing what is of interest to our audience, coupled with enjoying a fast paced environment will ensure you are able to hit the ground running in this newly created position. This position is based out of your home office anywhere within the U.S. or our local office in Nowalk, CT.
