We are looking to recruit an experienced Control Centre Advisor for a temporary contract in Leyland, Lancashire.
A vacancy has arisen within my client’s busy sheltered housing team for four experience Control Centre Operatives to join the team on temporary basis. You will be responsible for providing a first class customer focused service to my clients Sheltered Housing, Lifeline and Telecare Customers. The role of the control centre operative is to provided 24 hours answering service to vulnerable residents in their own properties. The successful applicants will answer emergency calls call from residents and co-ordinate out of hour’s services including emergency repairs, liaising with emergency services and local authorities.
The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience and excellent keyboard, IT and communication skills. You will be expected to have an empathy and understanding of the needs of our customers and provide an efficient response to incoming calls.
We seek to provide our customers with a professional, caring service at a time when they need emergency assistance. You must be able to manage priorities and show initiative in responding to the needs of our customers.
The Control Centre is a 365 day and night service. Weekend and bank holiday working is a requirement of the job.
The rota for the four vacancies is as followed.
Vacancy 1 22.5 hours per week – Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 12 midnight – 8.00am
Vacancy 2 22.5hours per week – Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday, 10.00pm – 6.00am
Vacancy 3 15 hours per week – Thursday and Friday 12.00 midnight – 8.00am
Vacancy 4 21 hours per week – 21 hours per week Tuesday and Wednesday 8.00am – 12 Midnight and Saturday 4.00pm –10.00pm
