Hours: 37.5 with some weekend work

Salary: £30000 - £40000

 

Are you an experienced Control Design Engineer looking for an exciting and progressive company?

 

My Banbury based client is looking to recruit for these two positions on a full time, permanent basis.

 

 

The Role:

 

 

The Responsibilities:

·         To undertake scheduled service work in accordance with the business standards as set out in the equipment manuals

·         To complete the relevant service records

·         To undertake scheduled repairs

·         To undertake emergency repairs

·         To provide 24hr x 7day emergency cover for 1 week from 4

·         To ensure compliance with Health Safety legislation

·         To ensure compliance with LOLER legislation

·         To ensure quality of output

·         To ensure that equipment and tools are calibrated and in good order

·         To adhere to the Key Service Process Maps

·         To identify continuous improvement and sales opportunities

·         To support Project and Enhancement commissioning activities

Knowledge and Skills:

·         HNC (or equivalent) qualification in electrical or electronic discipline

·         Minimum 5 years hands-on experience within an automated warehouse environment covering electrical and controls.

·         A working understanding of Electrical Electronic technical manuals drawings

·         Good understanding of distributed control systems

·         A valid driving license

·         Trained to work at height

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

·         Proven competence in fault finding on S5 and S7 PLC systems

·         Working knowledge of LOLER regulations

·         Working knowledge of FEM and BS standards governing the automated warehouse industry
