Our client is specialized in selling, designing, building and maintaining advanced solutions that are used in oil gas industry.

Responsible for making offers, functional specifications, basic/detailed design (I/O loops, Cause Effect, Logics, Control Narrative, HAZOP), system handbook, test plans, testing and running pilots for control and automation systems. These systems are mainly based on Simatic PCS7, WinCC, S7, WinCC flexible, Sinaut and other products. The applications are specialized for the Oil and Gas Industry as in Unit Control Panels and total plant automation concepts. Candidates with following experience have our preference;
-Control automation engineer worked in the Oil and Gas industry
-PLC and HMI systems

The controls engineer can be asked to assist installation and commissioning on site especially in pilots. The work package may include work activities abroad. For familiarization with the projects a number of months will be spent working wholly and/or partly at our office.

The control engineer will stay in close contact with the customer during the contract to keep his part of the project within budget and time and high quality level.

Result areas:
-Making offers,
- Formulates and draws up functional and technical specifications
-Carries out electrical engineering risk analyses
-Coordinates:
The design and documentation of the systems, components, peripherals and topology;
The documentation packages for manufacture, assembly, customer and service;
Internal functional test (IFT), factory acceptance test (FAT), Site acceptance test (SAT);
Commissioning of the installation;

Job Requirements
-Minimum bachelor completed training (Electrical engineering).
-At least 4-6 years experience as control engineer.

Knowledge about :

-PLC standards like: IEC61131, SIL safety standard IEC61508
-Hardware aspects like; Cabinet engineering, I/O loops (Digital/Analog), testing and problem solving.
-IT aspects like; PC hardware, Operating Systems, MS Office Word, Excel, Access,
Powerpoint, security issues (PC/Network), VMware, Imaging software, debugging/logging issues.
-Communication (protocols): Ethernet (ISO, TCP/IP), Profibus, OPC, Modbus, Fieldbus,
Hart, RS-232/485 and testing and problem solving. Generating software by using:
Databases, standard Import/Export assistant PCS7, own made solutions, COMOS and or others.
-Languages : Dutch, English and German.
