The Company
Our client is a major global financial services group with an extensive international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Control Room Compliance professional to join them. This role has a defined career path and offers progression for a high achiever.
The Role
- Monitoring staff trading activities;
- Handling research and conflicts clearance;
- Providing compliance approval for staff dealing;
- Reviewing and implement enhanced compliance control policies and procedures;
- Updating and maintaining Watch, Restricted Confidential and Grey list;
- Randomly reviewing employee's emails for evidence of breach of company's internal policies and procedures;
- Ensuring suitable Chinese walls and information barriers are in place;
- Monitoring wall-crossings in accordance with bank's policy;
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. You must have minimum 3 years' post compliance working experience gained from control room compliance in financial services industry. You should have a strong work ethic and be able to display strong communications and relationship management skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
