This role will include the following responsibilities:
- Updating and maintaining the watch and restricted lists
- Liaising with management to track progress of deals on watch / restricted lists
- Coordinate and approve Chinese Wall crossings
- Undertake surveillance including review and resolution of the watch / restricted list alerts
- Surveillance of potential front running of research rating changes
- Clearing debt and equity research against watch and restricted list following policy
- Assist with preparation of policies and procedures in department
- Liaising with Control Room staff globally as required
- Leading Control Room projects as required.
The ideal candidate will be coming from a Control Room background with monitoring and surveillance experience. Alternatively a monitoring and surveillance background with Control Room exposure is acceptable. A broad understanding of the UK regulatory market is a must. Personality wise you will be confident, a team player with good communication skills who really enjoys the control room environment.
