Electrical Engineer / Control Systems Engineer with experience of designing industrial control systems and knowledge of PLC programming is sought to join a company that develop and manufacture special purpose industrial equipment. As the Control Systems Engineer you will become involved in the design, test and some aspects of commissioning machinery. Key responsibilities will include:
· Specifying and modifying existing control systems for a range of products.
· PLC programming and the generation of system protocols.
· Assisting with machine testing.
· Occasionally working with field service teams to commission machines.
The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified Electrical / Electronic Software Engineer with experience of designing industrial control systems and knowledge of PLC programming. Specific industry experience is not important but any exposure to special purpose industrial machinery, capital equipment or industrial control systems used within the utilities sectors may be beneficial.
Salary and Package:
Negotiable depending on experience. Guideline range of up to £34K.
This position is commutable from Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Bury, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Bolton, Burnley, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Salford, Trafford, Bradford, Leigh, Warrington, Runcorn and Halifax.
