Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial reports and presenting findings and recommendations to CFO and Partners.
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Identify and evaluate unique opportunities for improving the business through potential cost reductions, use of resources, policies/procedures, etc.
- Corporate budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Assist with corporate treasury functions including overseeing funding of operating and payroll accounts, managing cash reserves, etc
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close with the proper financial information.
- Ensure the monthly Bank and Accounts Receivable reconciliation activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Quickbooks and other accounting software
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make decisions and enforce policies preserving the integrity of internal controls.
