Controller Assistant
A new opportunity has arisen to take a step up in your Accountancy and Finance career. Our client, a leading packaging company in High Wycombe, are looking for a part qualified Controller's Assistant / Analyst to assist the decision making process of the Business Controller and management team to drive change and increase the efficiency of all processes within their Finance department, alongside month end duties.
You will need to be assertive and confident while staying professional and have the drive to proactively look to improve all aspects of the division.
Key competencies:
- To be assertive and able to act on own initiative, able to work under Pressure
- Precise and responsible
- Excellent follow up and be able to meet deadlines
- Ability to produce accurate work and to pay attention to details
- Drive for results
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user (V-lookups, pivot tables and macros)
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a team
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills especially to non-financial colleagues
